No Smiths Reunion? Well DUH!

NME has reported that former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr has squashed rumours that the band would be reuniting at an upcoming Manchester charity gig.

The direct quote?

"The Smiths will not be re-forming at this concert."

Thing is, I'm fairly certain that when Morrissey said "The only way the four of us will ever be in the same room together is if you shoot us and drag in the corpses" he made the lack of a reunion abundantly clear.
